Hi team,
I’m a physicist and a former employee at both NASA and MIT — where I worked with some of the best and brightest minds in science. What got me there was hard work and most importantly: opportunity.
Now, I’m running for governor to fight for strong public education to ensure every child in Arkansas has the tools they need and a shot to succeed.
I want to share my vision of an environment where all kids can thrive, but first, will you chip in $5 to my end-of-month fundraising goal and support my campaign?
I’m a proud MIT grad, and I was afforded the opportunity to study there thanks to a scholarship I received from NASA. Without that scholarship, higher education could have been out of the picture for me.
That scholarship also gave me the opportunity to start working at NASA. During my time there I was able to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in science who all came from different backgrounds.
I’m grateful to have been able to have these experiences, and I want to ensure that the next generation of kids in Arkansas have access to the same opportunities I did.
Right now, Arkansas’s youth are falling through the cracks. Any kid in any classroom in Arkansas could be the next engineer, physicist, or astronaut — but so many still face barriers to success.
As governor, I’m going to invest in the leaders of tomorrow. It starts with creating education pathways from Pre-K to colleges and trade schools, expanding broadband throughout our state, and breaking down economic barriers that are keeping our young people from realizing their true potential.
Can I count on you to chip in $5 or more to my end-of-month fundraising goal, and support my campaign as we try to open the door of opportunity for every child in Arkansas?
Thank you,
Chris Jones
