Four reformers are leading the charge on Capitol Hill.

John,

Political reform is gaining steam on Capitol Hill.

On Wednesday, we hosted the inaugural Teddy Roosevelt Courage Awards to recognize four members of Congress for their outstanding commitment to bipartisan political reform and election security.

The honorees for this year’s awards were: Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI), and Rep. Derek Kilmer (D-WA). These four leaders have been active champions of reform efforts and have consistently reached across the aisle to work on legislation to fix our broken political system.

Issue One is dedicated to winning sweeping political reforms to make our democracy work better. We do that by uniting Republicans, Democrats, and independents to advocate for crosspartisan solutions to fix our broken political system.

Our strategy is based on a simple principle: that the only way we can bring about lasting change is by putting country over party.

That’s why we’re the leading crosspartisan political reform group in Washington.

Donate to Issue One so we can keep up the work to fix our broken political system.
