John,
I’ll explain why in a moment, but first, can you rush $5 to my campaign before tomorrow’s crucial fundraising deadline?

There’s no doubt about it: this district is special. As one of just nine congressional districts in the country that voted for President Biden in 2020 but also sent a Republican to the House of Representatives, we are in a unique position. This seat is flippable — and I am the candidate who will flip it. Here’s why:
Only one candidate in this race was raised in Omaha and grew up reliant on social programs in the district. I lived in subsidized housing and participated in youth programs for those below the poverty level. I graduated from Burke High School in 1999, and after becoming a mental health therapist, I had the opportunity to serve folks in that same community and youth program.
Only one candidate in this race is a trained mental health therapist. As a therapist, I bring an open mind, practical solutions, and passionate advocacy to all sessions. I’m ready to carry this same approach to Nebraska’s Second Congressional District.
Only one candidate in this race rejected dark money. I refuse to accept one penny of corporate PAC money. It hurts everyday people and contributes to corruption. I intend to actively listen to all constituents and put myself in their shoes.
Only one candidate would be the second woman and first Black woman to ever represent Nebraska in Congress. Nebraska has diverse leadership in local and state offices. I am ready to make history and give back to the district that has been my home with federal leadership that reflects who we are.
If I sound like a candidate you’d like to see in office, please chip in $5, $15, or whatever you can spare to my campaign right away.
