Tomorrow at midnight, we close the books on our end-of-month fundraising drive. It’ll be the last one before we get a real good sense of who our potential opponents are in this election.

We have to be ready.

Now, you know the far-right extremists who put our state through the ridiculous recall effort would love nothing more than to beat us with four more years on the line.

These are not people who handle defeat gracefully, to say the least. So we have to be ready, because keeping California blue — especially if Republicans take back the Congress — will be absolutely critical. It will protect California for at least four more years, no matter what happens in D.C.

So please:

Make a $3 contribution to Gavin Newsom’s re-election campaign and we are going to keep California blue in 2022. And we must, because doing so will keep our state safe from Republican rule for four more years.
