[1]Beto O'Rourke
John, we think
you should know this.
While Beto is running a grassroots campaign for the people of Texas, Greg
Abbott is relying on mega-donors and corporate energy executives to fund
his race.
Just take a look at some recent contributions to his campaign:
→ $1,000,000 from an energy CEO and one of the largest profiteers from the
power grid crisis on 6/23/2021.
→ $250,000 from executives of an energy company on 6/30/2021.
→ $100,000 from the CEO of an anti-abortion group on 10/1/2021.
→ $100,000 from an oil CEO on 2/16/2022.
We recently reached out to you about falling $194,685 short of our
February fundraising goal. While Greg Abbott might make up that gap by
just calling up a mega-donor — we're turning to YOU.
Our end-of-month deadline is coming up tomorrow at midnight, and we know
we can hit our goal in time if folks step up and chip in $5, $10, or
whatever you're able.
[ [link removed] ]Please, John,
will you step up as one of the grassroots donors we need to hit this goal
before tomorrow at midnight to help elect Beto and defeat Greg Abbott?
Your help could put us over the top.

When you know that Greg Abbott has accepted MILLIONS from mega-donors, it
helps put his campaign finances in context. In the latest TEC filing
report, Abbott outraised us by more than $800,000, but his haul came from
less than 25,000 donations while we received more than 68,900.
It's simple: Greg Abbott does not have even half the grassroots support we
have. We're proud to be powered by people, not special interests — we
wouldn't have it any other way.
We know you're a dedicated supporter of Beto's
campaign, but with our primary election this Tuesday, we
need to ask for your help once again:
[ [link removed] ]Will you join thousands of folks chipping in and help hit our
end-of-month goal? We have less than 48 hours to get this done, and Beto's
counting on us.
Thank you for doing your part,
Beto for Texas
