Hi John,

Since March of 2020 when Covid and the lockdown turned everything upside-down, Stand-Up San Francisco has had a significant drop in member participation. At this time, there are not enough volunteers to sustain the monthly meetings with our Members of Congress (MOC) – Senators Feinstein and Padilla and Congresswoman Pelosi – and their staff.

We encourage you to continue reaching out directly to your members of congress via phone, text or letters. Click on the link in the box below under your Members of Congress for their contact information

2022 Elections

The 2022 elections are crucial. Many local progressive grassroots organizations need volunteers. I've volunteered with the following groups writing postcards, letters, phonebanking and textbanking. Swing left and Sister District have several local chapters in the bay area. Click the link below to find out more about them.

Center for Common Ground [[link removed]] was founded to educate and empower under-represented voters in voter suppression states to engage in elections and advocate for their right to vote. They are a non partisan 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
