Joe Biden is coming to Seattle this weekend for private fundraisers with corporate elites -- and working class people are cordially not invited.

Instead you're invited to join Seattle DSA, Kshama Sawant, Shaun Scott for Seattle, the Tammy Morales campaign, Transit Riders Union, La Resistencia, Extinction Rebellion, Mazaska Talks, and many others to protest corporate control over politics! We can't let Amazon buy another election.

This will be Biden's 4th closed-door presidential campaign fundraiser of the year, without doing a single public event in the state. This $2,800 a plate dinner will be hosted by a millionaire Amazon top executive who recently funneled big money into the Seattle City Council races to try to beat progressive candidates and silence Seattle’s workers. Amazon rakes in millions from its work fueling ICE's cruel detention & deportation machine, and meanwhile pays $0 in Federal income taxes - actually getting a $129 million refund last year!

Joe Biden oversaw more than 3,000,000 deportations and has funded his campaign through big money donations from corporate executives. Despite signing a pledge not to take fossil fuel money, Biden continues to run private fundraisers with fossil fuel executives while seeking a “middle ground” on climate policy. Like other business-backed candidates, he puts his platform to use working against movements for Medicare for All and abolishing ICE. In recent days, his campaign has welcomed a new Super PAC established by corporate lobbyists representing the healthcare, fossil fuel, and defense industries.

We can’t let Amazon executives buy another corporate candidate. We call for:

No more corporate cash in politics, overturn Citizens United!
Medicare for All!
Abolish ICE and end the Deportations!
Tax Amazon, the top corporations, and wealthy individuals!
A genuine Green New Deal with high-paying, sustainable union jobs!
