Thank Biden for his historic selection!

Because of the work we did in 2020 to elect Joe Biden to the White House, John, we're going to see history made.

Yesterday, Biden nominated Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.

Judge Jackson will be the first Black woman on the court, and she's shown from her time as a public defender and as a judge on district and circuit courts that she is immensely qualified. She will bring a valuable perspective and be a fierce defender of reproductive rights, equality under the law, and the integrity of our democracy.

We're so excited by this historic nomination, and we're grateful to President Biden for keeping his pledge that he made two years ago to nominate a Black woman to the Supreme Court.

But Republicans are already smearing Judge Jackson with bad-faith attacks. We need to show just how much support she has.
