President Biden fulfilled his promise and made history yesterday by nominating Ketanji Brown Jackson to be the first Black woman ever on the Supreme Court.

LBR was in the audience at the presidential debate two years ago when Biden made this pledge. She felt incredible pride then, and she feels incredible pride now.

The work that we all did in 2020 to elect our 46th President has mattered, and Judge Jackson's nomination is a powerful reminder of why.

Our Supreme Court is going to look more like America now. Judge Jackson will bring an important perspective as a former public defender, as someone with family in law enforcement and family that has experienced our carceral system, and as someone who worked her way up from humble beginnings.

She will prioritize equity and justice in all her decisions. And we can't wait to see her make her mark on the highest court in the land!

We want to show our support for Judge Jackson, and our appreciation for Biden keeping his promise. So if you have a moment, add your name to thank President Biden for his history-making Supreme Court nomination!
