I hate to bother you on a weekend, folks, but I’m reaching out with a personal request ahead of Monday’s end-of-month fundraising deadline. I hope you’ll give me just a minute to explain.

I’ve spent the last week back home in Montana, meeting with folks around the state. In my conversations, I heard about everything from veterans’ needs to high-speed internet to our upcoming upgrades to numerous airports (thanks to my bipartisan infrastructure law).

And of course, I got to spend some time on the farm. Last year, we had the worst harvest we’ve ever had — the result of a catastrophic drought — and we’re crossing our fingers that this year will be better.

I love being home, spending time on the farm, and having meaningful conversations like the ones I had this week. But the truth is, it’s left me with less time to focus on fundraising, and my team tells me we’re a little behind.

So here comes the part where I make that request I mentioned at the beginning of this message: Can you pitch in ahead of Monday’s end-of-month deadline to help us make up some ground and reach our goal?

Thanks for your help, and for taking the time to read this message, especially on a Saturday. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for your support.
