Last week, the Trump administration formally notified the United Nations that he is withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement.

This global framework for reducing emissions will help us avoid the worst and most irreversible consequences of climate change. Of the nearly 200 countries who have signed on, only one has announced its withdrawal: the United States.
