Chrissy just touched base with me about tonight's deadline – I just wanted to loop you in on where we stand: 

As of this writing, we're still falling $3,201 short of the $5,000 we need to hit our fundraising goal. With self-funding Republicans pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into this race, we're in serious danger if we don't raise the resources we need to fight back – so please, friend, would you pitch in $5 tonight to help?

Right now, we're navigating uncharted territory. The GOP is passing voter-restriction legislation all across the nation, and here in Pennsylvania, the State Supreme Court just passed new maps that make this district even more competitive – helping Republicans in this already toss-up district. On top of that, they're pouring huge personal resources into this race.

To defend Chrissy's seat – and our Democratic House majority – we have to keep pace. I'd like to update Chrissy on our goal, but I really want to give her some good news – please, friend, will you help us meet our fundraising goal by chipping in $5 right now?
