As Russia's invasion continues into Ukraine nearing the capital city of Kyiv--taking lives of hundreds already--Cindy and I ask you to join us in praying for the resilient people of Ukraine, for peace, and for resolution. We must provide resources, supplies, equipment, and support to the free people of Ukraine as they fight for their freedom. We must provide what we can while we also pray Psalm 57 over them.
God, hear our prayer.
We pray for the protection of the people of Ukraine.
We pray for the protection of President Zelensky, his cabinet, and the legislature.
We pray for the protection of mothers and children as they seek refuge. Guard those children and families.
We pray for favor for the men and women who have taken up arms to defend their nation; we pray that you will provide the resources they need.
We pray for wisdom and strength for leaders around the world to make clear and strong decisions to stop Russia's attack.
We pray for the nations around Ukraine.
You are the God of all. Thank you for how you guide us and for the comfort you provide. We ask that you walk with the people of Ukraine through the valley of the shadow.
We know that it is you who can conquer all things--there is nothing too big or too small.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
