Hi! My name is Stanley, but my grandma calls me Tre and I call her GiGi! Did you know my GiGi, Valerie, is running for Congress? She showed me a photo of the Capitol building and I think it would be really cool if she could work there and help people in our community — including kids!

Whenever I’m with my GiGi, I see how much she cares about me and our neighbors. She is always asking people how they are feeling and doing her best to make us happy.

One of my favorite things my GiGi and I do together is read — she says books are really important and she loves to hear me read to her! We spend hours reading and she tells me all her ideas to improve the schools in North Carolina.
