John, this year is on fire! 🔥 Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to knock on thousands of doors since we launched the New Pennsylvania Project last May. We’ve built out our on the ground team, led by Laila Martin Garcia, who has onboarded several regional organizing directors,community engagement associates and fellows covering our targeted regions across the Commonwealth. We have also onboarded our new director of development and policy Katy Personette who has hit the ground running leading our fundraising and policy efforts.

February was slow with fundraising for us, and we still need to keep building out the team in our battleground state. This year, elections across our state will come down to a handful of votes. To fulfill our mission of expanding the electorate, we have to have a HUGE operation to register new voters and get them to the polls. But we still have $4,000 dollars left to raise in less than three days.

We can DO this! But we need your help. Our field team is ready to knock on some doors asap so they can listen to the issues that matter in their neighborhoods and mobilize the electorate to vote in every election – twice a year. The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in under-represented communities of color and immigrant communities. We will register them to vote, provide education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize people to vote in every election.
