Team, we’re seeing history in the making.
Black and brown people have been underrepresented in government for too long. Yesterday, President Joe Biden nominated the first African American woman to sit on the Supreme Court.
Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination is a historic victory for leaders of color. Judge Jackson’s voice on the court, the diversity of experience, and expertise that she brings will be critical to protecting and securing the right to control our bodies, our lives, and our futures for generations to come. This momentum must continue.
Equal representation means having all voices heard, and we need leaders like Shontel Brown to help us get there. As we near the end of February, and edge closer to early voting, we must do everything we can to defend Shontel Brown.
We need to raise $5,000 more before midnight on Monday, and we’re relying on your grassroots support to help ensure that people’s voices are heard and that their fundamental freedoms and rights are met. Can we count on you to defend Shontel and send her back to Congress by donating $5 today?
