In a minute, I’m going to ask you to chip in to help us defend our Senate majority. [[link removed]] But first, let me explain why.

Everything’s on the ballot this November. Right now, Democrats hold a narrow 50-50 majority in the Senate. But if we lose even one seat, we’ll lose the majority.

Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are hell-bent on taking back the Senate this election — and you can bet they’ll try every trick in the book to win. They’ve already spent millions of dollars attacking Democrats with even more to come.

And if that wasn’t enough to convince you, let me fill you in on the GOP’s latest “plan”. Rick Scott, the Chairman of National Republican Senatorial Committee, released his GOP “plan” that calls for a tax hike on the lowest income Americans — including seniors and the disabled.

It’s clear to me that we absolutely cannot let Republicans regain control, and it’ll take all of us to defend our Senate majority, which is why I’m reaching out to you today.
