I’ve got some sobering news.

The latest FEC filings show that Trump-backed, Christian Nationalist candidates have shattered fundraising records.

Even more ominous, President Trump’s political operation is flush with cash, with more than $122 million on hand across his political committees. That’s more money than both the Republican National Committee and the Democratic National Committee combined.

That’s a mammoth amount of money Trump will use to install Christian Nationalist candidates who believe their God has anointed him to take back our country from “crack-smoking, demon-possessed leftists”.

But here’s the thing: a majority of Americans reject Trump and the values espoused by his core base of Christian Nationalists.

Our job this year is crystal clear: we must advance atheist and humanist candidates who will counter Trump-backed, Christian Nationalists and mobilize and inspire the majority of Americans who believe in a safer, saner, more secular America.
