Happy Saturday, and thank you for spending your morning with us.
We know JD’s Top Hits is what we all looked forward to first thing this morning 😊
We had a busy past couple of weeks, and we are excited to share those updates with you. As always, let’s get scrolling, and have a great weekend!
WITH TUCKER. JD joined Tucker Carlson this week to discuss Ukraine, and that most Americans do not agree with the U.S. getting involved in the situation.
“I saw a poll today that 70% of Democrats and 80% of Republicans do NOT want America to play a major role in the Ukraine-Russia crisis. Turns out that the Tucker Carlson, JD Vance, and Donald Trump view of foreign policy is democratically popular in this country,” said JD.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT. See JD’s official statement here on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine:
JD also released an earlier statement this week slamming his ‘America Last’ opponents on their stance on Ukraine.
WITH BANNON. JD joined Steve Bannon’s War Room to talk about the Ukraine while we have real problems at home.
“I gotta be honest with you, I don’t really care what happens to Ukraine…I do care about the fact that in my community right now the leading cause of death among 18-45 year olds is Mexican fentanyl that’s coming across the southern border,” JD said.
ON TOUR. JD kicked off more stops on his No BS Town Hall Tour last week with a visit to Ironton!
Vance said people have left the Appalachian part of Ohio behind, saying it’s important to be a senator not just for Columbus and Cincinnati, but for Appalachia and other areas in the state – WOWK-TV
STOPPING BY LIMA. JD stopped by WLIO-TV in Lima to catch up on his campaign!
Vance says he has been hearing voters' concerns about the direction that the country is headed, inflation and immigration. He says all that can be fixed with the right people in Washington. – WLIO-TV
IN HUBER HEIGHTS. While in Huber Heights, JD sat down with Dayton 24/7 Now
to discuss his campaign after speaking with voters. It also aired on ABC 6 in Columbus.
IN TROY. JD stopped by Troy to talk with voters and chatted with Miami Valley Today about his campaign.
“In a lot of ways, I think about this race very personally, because a lot of the issues that I worry about, a lot of the things that I think are happening to our state, affected me very personally when I was growing up,” Vance said in the article.
IN LIMA. JD had a No BS town hall in Lima, and WLIO-TV and Lima News
were both there to cover it.

STOPPING BY VAN WERT. After a quick stop in Van Wert, JD spoke with Fox 55 about his campaign.
IN NEWARK. JD visited Newark on his tour, and talked with the Newark Advocate about issues at home.
J.D. Vance, a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate, told a Newark audience on Wednesday we should be more focused on the border with Mexico and recent truckers’ protest in Canada than the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
“I look at this country and I’m really worried about it," Vance said. "We have real problems in this country, and we don’t have people interested in solving them.”
IN STEUBENVILLE. NY Post’s Salena Zito visited JD on tour in Steubenville and wrote a
great piece about his campaign.
Vance, who is sporting a full beard these days, seems uniquely poised to speak to the voters of Ohio. Almost everyone in this state has heard of his book, read it or seen the movie. And his story of growing up in the shadow of the steel mill where his Papaw worked, followed by joining the military right out of high school is highly relatable.
Vance has kept his campaign fully centered on a ground game of meeting voters — he embarked on an energetic “No BS” 27-city tour of the state in January, an approach he promises to continue until Election Day.
“I really do enjoy it, I learn so much,” he told The Post. “And I get to meet so many different people.
"I think our country would be much better served by declaring the Mexican Cartels a terrorist organization and sending our troops to fight them, than we are going to Russia, where we might very well blunder ourselves into another war,” JD said.
ABOLSH THE ATF. JD penned an op-ed for the Cincinnati Enquirer discussing the ways the ATF is tracking transaction of law abiding citizens and the need to abolish it.
The ATF’s focus suggests radical change is needed. I want an ATF that prevents Mexican drug cartels from getting access to the most dangerous weapons in the world, while protecting my rights and those of my fellow citizens. The ATF is doing the opposite, so it’s time to get rid of it – JD wrote in the op-ed
