There is no greater impeachable offense! Biden and Mayorkas are purposefully violating their oath and not following the law. They are causing Americans to be harmed and to die.
This week, I led an official Congressional trip down to our Southern Border with four other Freedom Caucus members and five Texas State Representatives. We spoke with Border Patrol, Texas Department for Public Safety and local ranchers in Del Rio.
All along the Rio Grande and in Del Rio in particular, there are gaping holes where there is no wall or fencing along the border. Illegal immigrants, human traffickers and drug smugglers are taking advantage – crossing by the thousands each day.
Under Biden and DHS Secretary Mayorkas, there has been total failure to follow the Secure Fence Act and the requirements under the law to have operational control of the border.
This is a purposeful dereliction of duty! There’s no denying it. The cartels have operational control over our Southern Border, and as a result Americans are dying.
The urgency of this situation cannot be overstated. We can't wait three years!
Texas has appropriated $3 billion to secure the border. But that will only be a bandaid on a gunshot wound if you can’t stop the flow and the feds refuse to turn people away.
So, It’s now time for Texas to start turning people away on our own because the federal government is refusing to do it.
