Issue 8

My fellow Republicans,

On Tuesday evening we will all learn the will of the voters, and win or lose, we must unify behind the winners, thank all the candidates, and turn to any runoffs coming on May 24.

If you've worked for a candidate, you should be able to find an Election Night Victory Party. The office will be open because our regional Election Integrity effort will be at our headquarters, and we will be available to the media. But there won't be lavish food and drink at the office unless you bring your own.

Most importantly, on Election night, before the watch parties, we begin the convention process. To learn the location of your convention, go to https://bexargop.org/2022-precinct-convention-locations/. Every Republican voter is invited to participate. The purpose of these first conventions is to pass resolutions that will ultimately become our Platform in Houston, and to select delegates to the intermediate conventions are called SD Conventions, one for each of our four State Senate Districts, and will occur March 26.

How do I represent

my precinct at the SD Convention?

You must sign up at your precinct convention (or someone else can add your name)

Your SD Convention will be held on March 26. Issues? Call our office.

What to expect: In the days or weeks before the SD convention, you can visit committee meetings and let them know what issues are important to you. At the convention, you’ll set the rules by which the convention will operate. You will be able to vote on resolutions the committees have worked on. Then you’ll elect delegates and alternates to the state convention.
