Dear John,
Here’s an update on what I’ve been up to this week:
1. Celebrating today’s historic Supreme Court nomination: Today, President Biden made history by selecting Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to serve on the Supreme Court, who would become the first Black woman to serve on our nation’s highest court if confirmed. She is exceptionally well-qualified and has had a distinguished career on the federal bench and as a public defender in Washington, D.C. It is long overdue for a Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court, and I urge the Senate to move forward with Judge Jackson’s nomination in a fair and timely manner.
2. Spreading the word about at-home COVID-19 tests: I’m working to ensure that every Georgian has access to COVID-19 testing to keep our communities safe. Free at-home COVID-19 tests are available for all U.S. households. If you haven’t claimed your tests yet, you can online [[link removed]] or by calling 1-800-232-0233.
3. Supporting the United States Postal Service through bipartisan legislation: I am supporting the passage of the Postal Service Reform Act of 2022 to keep our Postal Service running. This legislation will save the USPS nearly $50 billion over ten years and will ensure that the USPS remains transparent as it provides delivery services to virtually every American.
4. Reaching out to new voters: Our race for Congress is making national headlines because Republican gerrymandering has made this district more competitive than it has been in decades. New district lines have also brought in new voters, so our campaign is doing everything we can to reach out and mobilize them to vote in November. John, can you help our team keep up our voter outreach efforts with a contribution today? [[link removed]]
