Charlie Baker said about the Democrats two weeks ago, when asked why the Massachusetts Statehouse remained the only state capitol in America still walled-off from voting and taxpaying public. After finally running out of excuses, Beacon Hill Democrats have relented. Today marked the first day since March 2020 that members of the public were allowed into the People's House. But the scene was far from normal -- a vaccine ID checkpoint, a testing tent, and a mask mandate greeted anyone curious to check in on legislative business.
