Friends,

In just a moment, I am going to ask you to make a contribution to my campaign. But first, please give me a chance to explain why this request is so important.

Our nation is at a turning point. The 2022 elections will decide the future course of our American democracy.

I am running for re-election because our work to help families, workers and small businesses weather the pandemic and build an economy that works for all Marylanders and Americans is not over.

Our fight to give Medicare the power to negotiate lower drug prices and ensure universal access to quality, affordable healthcare for everyone is not over.

Our fight to form a more perfect union and protect democracy here at home, and stand against authoritarian threats abroad, is not over.

But standing up for our common values and defending this Senate seat and the democratic majority in the Senate is not something I can do alone – it takes a large group of folks who understand the importance of this moment and the need to defend our democracy and achieve positive change.

So I am humbly asking for your support. Nothing less than control of the Senate, and any chance at progress is at stake.

Can you please make a $3 donation to my re-election campaign today? Our February fundraising deadline is Monday at midnight and we need to hit our goal. I would not ask were it not so important. [[link removed]]

CONTRIBUTE $3 [[link removed]]Moving our country forward, protecting our democracy, and delivering on the progress American families, workers, and small businesses need will require all of us to play a part. That's why your support means so much.

Thank you,

Chris
