President Biden is nominating Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, one of our nation’s sharpest legal minds, to the Supreme Court. President Biden sought a candidate with exceptional credentials, unmmatched character, and unwavering dedication to the rule of law.

Judge Jackson was born in Washington, DC and raised in Miami, where her parents, who started out as teachers, became leaders and administrators in the local public school district. From those humble roots, she built a career dedicated to serving those most in need and in 2022 she will become the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court.

All throughout this month, Caring Across Generations has been celebrating the contributions Black Americans – especially Black caregivers – have made to our country and to our movement to change the way America cares.

Black history should be celebrated every day as we celebrate the contributions of all people who make our country and our world a better, kinder and fairer place. We were proud to mark these contributions especially in the month of February.
