Just this afternoon, he attacked Louie Gohmert publicly again and spread more lies -- this time on Twitter -- because he's so worried about going into a runoff with us on Tuesday. Paxton knows if that happens, he'll lose.
He's trying to distract voters from the fact that he's been indicted and is under investigation for bribery. We need an Attorney General who will investigate crimes.... not commit them!
Paxton's own former Director of Law Enforcement and former Texas Ranger, David Maxwell, said this:
"The most basic qualifications of an attorney general are respect for truth and respect for the law. Ken Paxton has neither."
It's time for an AG who is faithful to the truth and the law, and this pattern of dishonesty is disqualifying as our state’s top Attorney. Ken Paxton needs to stop lying to Texans.
