John – have you heard the news? President Biden just announced that he is nominating Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court! If confirmed, she would bring a true wealth of experience to the bench and become the first Black woman to ever serve on the Supreme Court.

This is an incredibly important moment in the fight to defend and protect the values that Americans hold dear. But Democrats hold only the narrowest possible majority in the Senate, meaning her nomination is far from guaranteed.

In 2016, Mitch McConnell and Sen. Grassley (R-IA) conspired to STEAL a Supreme Court seat from President Obama and obstructed the nomination for MONTHS. Then, as soon as Trump was in office, the GOP rammed through their far-right nominees – even confirming Justices Kavanaugh and Coney Barrett mere WEEKS before an election.

We know the GOP's playbook: They'll only be happy with extremist, out-of-touch justices on the court, and they'll do ANYTHING to block this nomination. With our reproductive rights and so much more on the line, we cannot let them win.
