John,

Today, President Joe Biden kept his promise to the American people and nominated Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to serve as the first Black woman on the Supreme Court of the United States.

Representation matters, and I applaud this historic nomination. Judge Jackson's resume shows a strong commitment to equal justice under the law. It's clear she has a deep understanding of the Court's impact on the lives of the American people, and her lived experiences make her a worthy candidate.

Now that President Biden fulfilled his obligation to the American people, it's up to the Senate to do its job.

If you agree Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson deserves a smooth confirmation process in the Senate, please join me in calling on the Senate to confirm her as swiftly as possible. Sign on now.

Like her predecessor Justice Stephen Breyer, Judge Jackson has an unwavering dedication to the rule of law. As a Justice, I know she will blaze a trail for future generations of Black and brown leaders.

In solidarity,

Dwight
