Last week, a bill was introduced that would allow private California citizens to sue anyone who manufactures, distributes, imports, or sells an assault rifle or ghost gun in California – using the same scheme Texas used to deny millions of Texas women the right to abortion.

I can’t wait to put my signature on it.

If Texas can use this scheme to ban a woman’s right to choose and put her health at risk, we can use that same scheme to save lives and protect Californians from gun violence.
