Crisis in Ukraine

I pray for the people of Ukraine in their fight against Putin and his obsession with authoritarian domination. The United States should respond by unleashing the power of the American energy sector.

No Pro-Abortion Task Force Act

Today, along with 32 colleagues, I introduced the No Pro-Abortion Task Force Act, which will prohibit federal funds from being used to support Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) recently created, anti-life Reproductive Healthcare Access Task Force.

The Biden administration has a clear disdain for the sanctity of life
and is determined to force taxpayers to support abortion. Under the leadership of Secretary Becerra, HHS has looked at every option to undo and erode the pro-life policies that were put in place by President Trump and his administration. The announcement of this anti-life task force on the 49th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision is just the latest attempt by the Biden administration to abolish pro-life protections for the unborn. The Biden administration has blatantly crossed the line and needs to be held accountable. For more information, visit www.congress.gov. 

Visiting Border in Del Rio

On Tuesday, I traveled to the border in Del Rio, Texas, with Congressmen Chip Roy, Michael Cloud, Louie Gohmert, and Bob Good, and several members of the Texas Legislature to the location where Border Patrol was forced to hold tens of thousands of illegal aliens under the international bridge in September 2021.
We heard first-hand from Border Patrol agents, Texas Department of Public Safety officials, and local ranchers and business owners about the impacts of Biden’s Border Crisis.  During the trip we heard one consistent message: President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas’s policies and actions are preventing the Border Patrol from securing our border and enforcing the law.  This is why I have introduced articles of impeachment against Secretary Mayorkas and am supporting articles of impeachment against President Biden.
