Hi John,
Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to serve as America’s next Supreme Court Justice, and the first Black woman on our nation’s highest court, is an incredible moment in history, and it brings the Supreme Court one step closer to truly representing the diversity of America. |
Judge Jackson is a deeply qualified judge with a proven record of putting justice above all else. She clerked for Justice Breyer, worked as a public defender, served on the bipartisan U.S. Sentencing Commission, and served as a judge on the District Court and D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. Judge Jackson will protect our most sacred rights as Americans -- including voting rights. We know she will truly be a justice for all Americans. When We All Vote will stand behind Judge Jackson and we need you to join us.

We know that as the first Black woman to be nominated to the Supreme Court, Judge Jackson will face harsh criticism. For decades, women have been subject to stereotypes and tropes about qualifications, leadership, looks, relationships, and experience. Those stereotypes are often weaponized against Black and Brown women. Black women have always shown up for America, and it's time for us to show up for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.
