On Tuesday, Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) released his 11-point plan to “rescue America”. If Republicans take control in the mid-terms he proposes to:

• Close the Department of Education.
• Complete the southern border wall and name it for Donald Trump.
• Tax the middle class.
• Instate voter ID laws nationally and ban same-day voter registration.
• Ban transgender athletes from participating in sports.
• Eliminate diversity training in the military.
• Sunset all federal legislation five years after its passage — including critical programs like Social Security and Medicare.
• And the list goes on.

This is not a wish list by an alt-right troll on the internet, team, this is a platform for the Republican party, put out by one of the GOP’s leading Senators.

Each of these bullet points deserves its own rebuttal, but for now, we’ll say this:

We have no intention of letting the Republican party take either the House OR the Senate come Election Day in November — and we have no intention of letting any of this extremist right-wing “policy” anywhere near the House of Representatives.

But team, we need you. Will you give $5, $10, or more to protect the House and condemn this Republican extremism before it becomes the law of the land?
