Thanks good talk.
Hey John,
I flew to San Francisco on Friday to perform 20 minutes of standup for
a Russian billionaire and 30 of his friends, mostly Russian, in Elon
Musk's old house. You know, normal stuff. One guy I talked to had his
own satellite company, another was starting the world's first NFT
magazine in the Metaverse, another introduced himself as a "Swedish
Art Dealer" and then laughed a very high pitched laugh that made me
think I was in an Austin Powers movie. I felt pretty fancy, eating
caviar with gold flakes in it. Until dinner was served and they told
us that we would be eating bland tacos in the servant's quarters. Got
humbled pretty quick. But then they brought us a few bites of
leftover Wagyu beef and I felt special again. Until I realized that's
exactly how they would treat their dogs. Then I realized they didn't
have any dogs. WE WERE THE DOGS! Then they said it was time for me to
perform, and at this point it felt like I was just being asked to do
tricks. I've performed in arenas and on TV live to millions, a piece
of cake. Billionaires without a great skill for English who would
rather be eating dessert? Not as easy. But I got through it just fine.
Especially considering there were a few moments I was afraid that
after the show I'd be killed. We all hung out after that, and they
couldn't have been nicer. They were all pretty down to earth actually.
Despite the lavishness of the little party. (See photos below). They
had a hookah stand flown in from LA with fresh fruit under the coals,
so that was awesome. There were fire dancers, and a lady who shot a
bow and arrow with her feet. She did accidentally hit one of her
co-workers in the head, but he was fine. The beauty of wooden tipped
arrows I guess? They also flew out one of the biggest DJs in the
world, but no one introduced him, so he was just spinning by himself,
no one paying attention. I'd have felt bad except I heard what he was
probably getting paid. He'll survive the ego blow. As did I.
Especially with the news I have to announce, keep reading!
I've been under the weather the last few days since returning, (that's
not the news) and feeling pretty lethargic and delirious. (Which is
ironic because "Lethargic and Delirious" was my favorite comedy team
growing up.) It's not COVID though, so I was thrilled to learn that.
You know it's a weird time when you are thrilled that you probably
have the flu. Delirium aside, I have something pretty cool to share
with you.
I've been working on getting this comedy star to join me for some time
now and it's finally happening! THIS SATURDAY February 26 at 5p/8e the
special guest for my GLEIB OFF THE TOP virtual show is star of
"Whose Line is it Anyway?" COLIN MOCHRIE!!! He's one of the quickest
comedy minds on the planet, and if you live anywhere on it, you can be
there with us live! We will see and hear you, and you may even become
part of the show! This is probably the only time this will
happen. Get a ticket HERE (
[link removed] ). I’m
also doing a post show VIP intimate video hang after the show this
Saturday, where I’ll answer your questions. You can get a regular or
VIP ticket HERE (

And as if this wasn't exciting enough, I have an even crazier
announcement coming your way next week. So I may be a billionaire's
dog, but I'm on the way up!
Thanks for all your support, always.
