John — It’s Larry here, Josh Shapiro’s Political Director.

I want to take a moment to tell you what’s on the ballot this year, because it’s much more than just the candidates. Important issues and the rights that we rely on are at stake.

Issues like these:

1.
Voting
Rights:
The
very
foundation
of
our
democracy
is
that
we
can
vote
for
who
represents
us.
We
can
make
our
voice
heard
at
the
ballot
box

but
with
Republicans
waging
a
systematic
assault
on
our
voting
rights
across
the
country,
we
need
to
keep
Pennsylvania
blue
to
continue
defending
the
right
to
vote.
2.
Abortion
Access:
Abortion

the
freedom
to
make
your
own
reproductive
choices

should
be
a
constitutional
right.
With
the
uncertain
future
of
Roe
v.
Wade
,
states
like
Pennsylvania
will
have
the
power
to
determine
the
constitutionality
of
abortion.
3.
Workers’
Rights:
All
Pennsylvania
workers
should
have
access
to
a
good-paying
job,
a
living
wage,
and
the
right
to
organize.
We
need
to
expand
and
protect
workers’
rights

because
if
we
don’t,
Republicans
will
turn
Pennsylvania
into
a
right-to-work
state.
4.
Education:
No
matter
what
your
zip
code
is,
every
student
deserves
access
to
quality
education.
That
means
adequately
funding
public
schools
and
ensuring
our
students
are
prepared
for
the
jobs
of
the
future.

These issues and more are on the ballot this year, so if we want to protect our democracy, uphold abortion rights, expand workers’ rights, and improve our schools — we need to keep Pennsylvania in Democratic hands.

It’s imperative that we elect a Democratic Governor who will defend our rights and give Pennsylvanians more opportunities to get ahead. To help make that happen, will you chip in $5 to Josh’s campaign? [[link removed]]
