February may be the shortest month of the year, but it could end up being one of the biggest months of this campaign.
We got a new district map, new opponents, and an endorsement from one of Long Island's best known Mets fans (and former nominee in NY-01), Perry Gershon. We also heard from national political experts that this race is officially rated as a pure toss-up.
All these new developments have brought new momentum to this campaign – I can feel the energy building on the ground every single day. Now I'm turning to you to help us hit our February fundraising goal and close out the month in as strong a position as possible.

In just a few days, we'll begin canvassing all across the district to get my name on the ballot. This new district is over 85 miles long and has a significant portion of voters who are new to NY-01 – a grassroots mobilization effort is going to be critical. With this in mind, we've been busy bringing on staff, opening up a headquarters, and preparing to step up our ground game.
