Yesterday, President Biden addressed the nation about the current humanitarian crisis in the wake of Russia's attack on Ukraine. In response, President Biden announced the United States will impose new strong economic sanctions against Russia.

Russia’s unprovoked aggression against Ukraine is illegal and a reckless breach of global peace and stability. We must work with our allies to hold Putin and the Russian government accountable.

I commend President Biden's actions for supporting our allies and doing everything we can to help Ukraine during this challenging time. I am continuing to pray for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people throughout this humanitarian crisis.
