First, the good news:

As of the last FEC fundraising filing, Mandela has received more donations than anyone else in this race. That's important, because unlike some of our opponents, Mandela doesn't have the means to self-fund and he's rejecting corporate PAC money.

Now, the bad news:

Our average online donation has plummeted recently – it's about $10 less than when we started the month. That's not good.

So, we have two choices: either we need A LOT more donations between now and the time this month ends in order to reach our goals, or we need to ask people to chip in a little bit more than we otherwise might.

Normally we ask people to make a $3 donation the first time they are chipping in online. But if you could contribute $10 today, it would mean a lot toward making sure we had A LOT of donations and raised the kind of money we need to win.
