A ski lodge bar, ice bar, giant toboggan slide and Christmas market can only mean one thing - the return of Winter Wonderland to the heart of Nottingham city centre.
The ice rink is increased to 1,100 square metres with a special 5m x 16m area just for children. Also new this year is an enchanting 200m ice path which skaters can follow from the main rink around the fountain area of Old Market Square.
Wrap up warm and enjoy a truly chilling experience as Nottingham’s coolest bar – the unique Ice Bar, is back with an exciting new Alpine theme for 2019.Â
Christmas shoppers and visitors to the city can once again enjoy hot mulled wine as well as a range of other beverages and food in the cosy surroundings of après ski bar, Sur la Piste.Â
Or relax upstairs with a cocktail in the chic, glass lounge bar, Altitude, which provides panoramic views of the city. With table service and a private DJ, you can also take your Christmas party to Altitude as it is available for private bookings.

Nottingham has a new festive offering this year in the shape of THOR’S tipi bar - a Christmas pop-up bar under a canvas tipi.
Inside, it's sooooooo cosy! The bar is decked out with wooden tables and benches, warm furs and a real fire pit.
Pop in for a hot chocolate and a relax while you do the Christmas shopping! Dogs are welcome too! Check it out at Trinity Square

UK Young Artists, Nottingham Trent University's (NTU) Lace Archive and Backlit Gallery (itself a former textile factory) host a range of family-friendly activities to ignite and inspire people on this important archive and Nottingham's social history.

Visit the Plant Shop to choose your Christmas tree (From 23 November) from a huge stock of Nordmann firs as well as Fraser Firs. Trees come in biodegradable netting and there is a chipping service for when the festivities are over. Delivery is also free within a 15 mile radius.
There are lots of other plants too. Grab a home-grown poinsettia in a range of colours, plus cyclamens, violets, or chilli plants; all will make great gifts.
Christmas Family Fun Weekends From 30 November
Make your own door wreath and other family craft activities, browse craft stalls for quirky gifts or festive plants. There is also storytelling, face painting, a real steam engine, food and drink, and performances from local choirs and brass bands.
Don’t miss the live reindeer on site on 7 and 8 December alongside Christmas stories with Mrs Claus.
