Our February fundraising deadline is just a few days away, so we’ll get straight to the point:

Last month, Rep. Donald Payne Jr. tapped into his network of corporate donors and high-powered lobbyists. And he out-raised us for the first time since we launched this campaign.

This is serious, John. With your help, we’ve built a powerful grassroots movement that’s already put the establishment on notice. But, now that we have their attention, it’s critical that we continue to grow our movement and show our grassroots strength. 

If we’re going to unseat a do-nothing incumbent and elect a proud progressive to fight for us in Congress, we need to make our February deadline count. And we only have four days left to do it.

Rep. Payne Jr. has made it clear that he’s only interested in doing the bare minimum. Until we challenged him on his record, he refused to fight against conversion therapy or support a Green New Deal for Schools. And until we out-raised him in our first quarter, he assumed that he could coast to re-election. 

Now, he knows that we’re not messing around. And, with help from the Democratic establishment and New Jersey’s corrupt political machine, he’s going to do everything he can to stop us.
