BREAKING: We are running in District 11.

It’s official, folks. 

We are excited to officially announce that we will be running in NC-11! The NC courts rejected the gerrymandered Congressional map submitted by the legislature, and issued a fairer map drawn by a panel of experts. We are excited to officially file our paperwork to run in District 11.

Here is the state of play – First, NC-11 remains one of the most competitive districts in the state and could very well decide the balance of power in our delegation to Washington. Second, Western North Carolina remains ground zero for Madison Cawthorn’s extremist takeover plan.

Early reporting indicates that it is now more likely than ever that Cawthorn will move back into our district and run against Jasmine again. A quick refresher – Cawthorn abandoned the district he was elected to represent in Congress for the sake of political opportunism and now voters in NC-11 may have the opportunity to make him a one-term Congressman.

What we know for sure is that we need to elect Jasmine to be the real leader NC-11 deserves – whether Cawthorn is our opponent or not.
