It’s probably no surprise to you, but here at Send a Cow, it all started with farmers and their dairy cows.

What began with sending cows to widowed farmers in Uganda after the civil war in 1988, has transformed into the vital work you have been a huge part of today. For 34 years, supporters like you have stood with smallholder farmers as they have learned to grow and sell more, and share their new-found knowledge with their neighbors, who then do the same.

As our work has expanded to include nutrition, gender equality and enterprise, so has our reach. Today we’ve worked with over 2 million people, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
