ACRES, TREES, COURT WINS:
WLT SUPPORTERS' MONTH OF IMPACT
The next generation of Jaguarundis at Buenaventura can now look forward to a safer future, thanks to the generosity of Denyss Wilsden.
To champion conservation is to leave a better world for everyone on this planet and this month, news of WLT supporters doing exactly that have been coming thick and fast:

• By remembering WLT in his will, lifetime WLT Friend Denyss Wilsden made it possible to protect hundreds of acres of Ecuadorian cloud forest

• Action Fund donations have helped to double a reserve in Kenya and to deliver a court order banning habitat destruction in Zambia

• Community festivals have celebrated the addition of 44,000 native trees to elephant corridors in India, all funded by Plant a Tree donations

• While James Wragg has singlehandedly funded the saving of 67,000m2 of Guatemalan forest by cycling more than 2,000km last winter

To Denyss, James and everyone else who has ever supported WLT: thank you. Every penny and every cent you’ve donated will help to protect the habitats the world of tomorrow will need – a gift of a living planet for future generations.

Laguna Grande saved, Atlantic Forest next:
Operation Ocelot Mission Two goes to Brazil

Are you parent, a teacher or a Scout leader? Steve Backshall has a plan to get children into conservation – and you could play a crucial part.

Led by the WLT Patron last year, the schools, families and others who joined Operation Ocelot Mission One helped to save habitat for 700+ species in Guatemala. But we’re not done. This year, Mission Two will fund the protection of Brazil’s Atlantic Forest, the home of ocelots, sloths and more.

So get involved! Help us bring a new generation into conservation by getting children to...
