Our 2017 Netflix documentary Liberated: The New Sexual Revolution ([link removed]) took viewers into the heart of young adult hookup culture during spring break, exploring how pop culture and pornography have toxically shaped their ideas about sex.

This raw film has left many viewers with important questions to wrestle with.

Our new miniseries Liberated: After Spring Break answers many of those questions.

It will give viewers the chance to, in a sense, “sit down” with Kimmy and Shay, the first film’s main subjects, and process the heavy reality of widespread sexual objectification and violation.

The film follows Kimmy and Shay as they share their insights with college students at Liberated screenings across the US and UK.

You’ll learn how Shay came to leave hookup culture behind and become a messenger for guys who are caught up in this prevalent mindset.

You’ll learn from Kimmy as she vulnerably reflects on her struggle to find healing from the culture of sexual harassment she grew up in and powerfully conveys the true worth of women.

For many viewers, this short 4-part series could be a restorative experience, and one that imparts a hope that cuts through the exploitative current we’re all immersed in.
