The Oklahoma state legislature is considering FIVE anti-abortion bills - including Senate Bill 1167. Introduced by OK State Senator George Burns, the “Every Mother Matters Act” (yes, that’s the name) would create a government-run database that would track pregnant women looking into abortion.

This is in addition to a bill from Republican OK State Senator Greg Treat that would prohibit an abortion 30 days after the start of a pregnant woman's last menstrual cycle.

Oklahoma is experiencing a surge in people needing abortion care after S.B. 8, Texas’s inhumane anti-abortion law, was passed. Texans have been forced to cross state lines into Oklahoma to get the reproductive healthcare they need.
