Team — Now more than ever, we must fight for our shared vision of an America that gives everyone an opportunity to thrive.

An America where it’s normal for someone like me, a refugee and a first-generation college student, to have a seat at the decision-making table — to shine a light on the struggles of everyday families and fight for the opportunities we all deserve.

An America where no one goes without the healthcare, housing, or food they need, where inequities like student loan debt and school meal debt are a thing of the past, and where human rights are at the center of our foreign policy.

Our movement has fought hard to make that America a reality, and together, I believe we can make it happen. That’s why I’m running for re-election, and that’s why I’m reaching out to you today.

We’re closing the books on our February deadline in just a few days, and it’s important that we meet our goal of bringing in 4,000 individual contributions so we can keep building our movement for progress. Since February is such a short month, we’ll only meet our goal if we pick up the pace.
