Patriot,

Yesterday, Justin Trudeau revoked the Emergencies Act, just two days after his allies in the Canadian Parliament voted to extend it.

What changed? The Prime Minister’s political future. Facing a torrent of outrage from citizens, the press, and other countries, Trudeau saw the writing on the wall that his authoritarian actions were not good for him.

Nevertheless, Trudeau’s tactical retreat has no bearing on the lesson that Canadian banks, without hesitation, obeyed government orders to freeze and seize the bank accounts of peaceful protesters and supporters of the Canadian truck convoy.

And as Campaign for Liberty's Executive Director John McCardell warned in Tuesday’s email, it’s not only possible the phenomenon of government-instigated “de-banking” comes to America – it’s likely, maybe certain, unless we can put a stop to it now.

Yesterday, truckers departed from California on an 11-day journey to Washington, D.C. Other impromptu convoys in other parts of the country will undoubtedly pop up as well.

Do not be shocked if the Justice Department wages a campaign of terror against these peaceful protesters. The Biden regime has already deployed 700 National Guard troops to Washington in anticipation.

And the United States has a much more sophisticated disinformation and propaganda apparatus than our friends to the north.

Is there any doubt there will be covert government agitators, just as there were on January 6th and in the staged “kidnapping plot” of Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer?

Will the Biden Justice Department attempt the “de-banking” – the illegal freezing and seizure of the bank accounts – of the demonstrators and their supporters?

This would have shocking implications for free speech. In an instant, Canada went from a nation that honors free speech to a nation where the government can seize citizens’ property, savings, and livelihood for even donating to an effort whose viewpoints fall outside the accepted norm of the statists.

We’re not talking about seizing the bank accounts of some drug kingpin. We are talking about the government taking everything from working-class families – just for supporting free speech. The chilling effect it will have is obvious – and that’s the point.

Knowing what we know about the Biden Justice Department, I see no reason why they wouldn’t attempt to use this new tool of terror.

This is not the quiet tyranny of the surveillance state we know all too painfully well.

This de-banking is in-your-face, brutal tyranny.

We need to proactively petition Congress right now to prevent a devastating loss of First Amendment rights we may never be able to regain. CLICK HERE to DEMAND Congress take action NOW to stop political “de-banking”: the financial destruction of dissident voices.

Some people have expressed being uncomfortable signing petitions to Congress, so let me clarify something:

We never give away or sell your personal information to anybody or any other organization.

We’ve even fought the IRS (and won) to protect our supporters’ privacy.

We also redact your email and street address when we deliver your petitions to Congress.

And we make every effort we can to protect our system from malicious hackers.

The statist politicians and the media want us to be silent. Which is why, more than ever, you and I must speak out.

Whatever the Biden regime wants you to be afraid to do. . . that is what you most certainly must do.

And that includes contacting your lawmakers and making your voice heard.

Over the years, Campaign for Liberty has punched back above our weight against statist lawmakers and their tyrannical advances – because our members sign our petitions and put Congress on alert.

But we cannot win this critical battle without your support.

Taking on the statists in D.C. is never easy . . . or cheap. But with your help, you and I can stop this madness before it escalates further.

So please make a contribution of $250, $500, $1000, or whatever you can afford to help us reach and mobilize more people.

And make sure you sign our petition. It’s critical we bombard Congress with concern about this, right now, because it’s an imminent threat that, until now, has had no organized opposition.

This is not an issue that is on Congress’s radar – but it needs to be, because it’s taking off in Canada and soon to strike home.

That’s why Campaign for Liberty is taking on this fight now. Because “de-banking” is actually one of the most brutal forms of tyranny. Destroying a man’s livelihood, confiscating his money and his ability to feed his family, is almost as bad as killing him. This is hard-core repression. And it is creeping into our country now.

In fact, it’s already happening to some degree with most major banks in the United States. These banks are using non-financial criteria – “environmental, social, and governance” (ESG) factors – to determine if you should be allowed to use their bank . . . or if you should be allowed to access your own funds!

And just last year, major credit card processors kicked organizations and politicians off their platforms because of different points of views and different ideas and because they weren’t “woke” enough.

So now is the time to put your U.S. Representative and Senators on the record. Demand they answer: “What are you doing to stop the Executive Branch from gutting the First Amendment by allowing and even encouraging banks to freeze the accounts of political opponents?”

If your representative and senators are Republican, you and I need them to know their constituents are alarmed about this issue, and they need to address it and tell us where they stand – right now.

Even if your representative and senators are Democrat, they should be alarmed at the principle of free speech – which so many liberals once fought so hard to protect – is being swept away. Some might even recognize that the shoe could be on the other foot again someday.

Either way, it’s critical we all contact our members of Congress and let them know the people are demanding protection from any possible government repression of our speech via the threat of a “Do Not Bank” list.

Campaign for Liberty has created a hard-hitting petition to members of Congress you can send in seconds.

Click here to petition your representative and senators in Congress to prevent a devastating loss of First Amendment rights. DEMAND Congress take action NOW to stop political “de-banking”: the financial destruction of dissident voices.

We need Congress to hear the most public outcry possible on this issue before the Biden regime’s Justice Department takes a cue from Justin Trudeau. We need champions to get in front of this issue, we need conservatives and civil libertarians to stand up and speak out.

First, they need to hear from us.

Please send a message to your representative and senators by clicking any of the links above. It only takes a few seconds.

And then, after you’ve signed, please make a most generous contribution to Campaign for Liberty.

With your help, you and I can stop this madness before it escalates further.

Whether you can make a contribution of $250, $500, $1000, or whatever you can afford, any contribution helps us reach and mobilize more people.

Thank you for all you do to save our Republic.

For liberty,

Dr. Ron Paul
Chairman, Campaign for Liberty

P.S. We can stop the forthcoming, brutal assault on the First Amendment, if only we speak up.

Tell your U.S. Representative and Senators in Congress: Protect free speech and prohibit government-sponsored de-banking of dissent.

And if you support Campaign for Liberty’s ongoing efforts to expose and stop this madness, please support us with a contribution. It’s the only thing that keeps us going.
