Yesterday the former chief of Texas’s power grid testified under oath that Greg Abbott instructed officials to gouge Texans for power during last year’s winter storm . His oil and gas donors made $11 BILLION in profits from the storm and turned around and cut him a $5 million campaign contribution.

To distract from his bombshell, Greg Abbott announced yesterday his administration will investigate transgender children and prosecute their parents for “child abuse.”

Greg Abbott has consistently failed our state and used his office to play politics and attack working families. Last year he allowed his oil and gas donors to gouge Texans out of billions of dollars to keep their lights on, and they turned around and paid him for it. Even worse, Texans are still on the hook for billions in utility bills from last year’s storm.
