We're excited to announce a brand-new educational series for Population Connection members! Senior Analyst Hannah Evans will host one-hour monthly sessions from March to June to explore how human population trends and dynamics affect global sustainable development efforts, structural inequalities, and environmental change. 

The first session, Introduction to Demography, will outline some major demography themes, including age and sex compositions, world population projections, urbanization, fertility, and migration. The session will also look at the history and future trajectory of global population growth and how it relates to globalization, economic transitions, and environmental degradation. The session will be held on Wednesday, March 9th, at 3pm ET/12pm PT.
