I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it as long as Donald Trump retains Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education: she is unfit for the job.

Betsy DeVos is not an advocate for public education. She never was. She never will be.

Public school teachers, parents, and education advocates have all had enough of DeVos: they care about providing the best for America's students.

DeVos ignores the consequences of gun violence in our schools. She's rolling back protections for survivors of sexual assault. She's trying to choke off our public education system by diverting dollars to private schools.

DeVos repeatedly blocked rules designed to protect students attending for-profit colleges. And most recently? She was held in contempt of court and fined $100,000 for ignoring a federal court's order to stop enforcing loans made to defrauded students at those very same for-profit colleges.

It's time to stand up and fight back against this disastrous agenda. We need a Secretary of Education who's committed to protecting our students and fighting for their education.
