As we speak, a bill is moving through the Florida Legislature to ban discussion of the LGBTQ+ community in our schools. I know from firsthand experience how harmful the impacts of this bill will be because I was once a scared student who first came out to my 8th grade teacher. When I’m elected your Senator, I’ll fight against harmful bills like this one and work every day to increase our representation.
